Well, of course we think you should stay with us in Quku i Valbonës! Not only do we have a great central location, within walking distance of 6 of the most popular trailheads, we also have the best range of services, from landscaped camping sites to the most luxurious rooms in the valley with even more options in between, and then there’s the restaurant at Rilindja – Valbona’s oldest and best, as well as our own information office (which, unlike the official government-sponsored information office, has actual, accurate information and people who speak other languages. Hmph). We have a march on other businesses, being the first to even think of tourism in Valbona, seeing it as a way for the community to emerge from the chaos of the late 90s when, yes, everyone laughed at Alfred for even thinking of it! We have always really listened to our guests, who luckily mostly care about the same things we do, and so we continue to work on meeting their challenges, not only providing what they want in our accommodation options, but even thinking larger: Working with the whole community to mark and map hiking trails, developing cultural activies like Stan Visits, educating the children about good environmental practices, and always thinking what is best not only for ourselves, but for the community as a whole.

In general, most places in Albania take bookings with simply a message, and there is absolutely no reason to pre-pay. Online booking services take up to 20%, so it is much better for local economies if you book directly – people will be happy if you do!
