Return Details

Return to Tirana to intercity bus station for North Albania, the north gate of Tirana.

Return to Shkodra city center, close to Migjeni Theatre;

Day 1: Tirana – Komani Lake –  Valbona Valley

Pass By: Tirana (or Shkoder as an option)

TIRANA: – The starting time of this tour is from the hotel door, from early morning at 04.30 am fom Tirana, with a taxi which will bring you on time to the starting point on the backside of Gazheli Petrol, Str. Mine Peza.

The transport is organized with public minivan from Tirana to Komani ferry stop, (4x4car depending on guest request on extra charge). During the transfer to Komani, usually you will get a coffee stop at any point.

SHKODRA: – Pick-up at hotel door is offered from Shkodra from 06.10 – 06.30h, transfer with minivans to Ferry stop – Ferry trip – then again minibus to the Guesthouse Door in Valbona valley.

Stop At: Komani Lake, Shkoder County

During the ferry trip, you have the possibility to fully enjoy the view of the lake, of the rocky slopes, of the reflections of the nature on the water, amazing views to remember. In the ferry, you can enjoy even a drink or a coffee from the Bar.

After two hours of ferry trip, we will reach the Fierza stop. Here will be another minivan waiting to bring you toward Valbona valley, and drop off at the Guesthouse door.

Tickets for all the transfers will be provided from the driver of the first minivan.

Stop at: Valbona Valley, Tropoja Country

Accommodation around 13.30 am: at KOL GJONI GUESTHOUSE (optional on availability)

Dinner around 19.30 am at the guesthouse;

Lunch box for the next day.

Free time in the afternoon to have a walk around the valley before dinner time.

Day 2: Valbona Valley – Valbona pass – Thethi National Park

Pass By: Valbona National Park, Valbona, Kukes County

After an early breakfast, at around 08.00 am the day will start hiking toward Thethi valley for around 6-7 hours with a mule to carry your luggage and its owner to show you the path.

During this hike, we will go through Rragam village to the golf of Valbona at 1750 mt to proceed then in the Thethi National Park area between the woods and pastures.

Pass By: Theth National Park, Shkoder County

At the highest point, on Thethi’s side, there is a cottage used as a ‘Bar’ to have a rest and a refresh for the group. Then proceeding toward the down valley for other three hours and get accommodated in the guesthouse in the late afternoon.

Usually, it takes 3 hours up and 3 hours down. Duration: 6 hours

Relaxing evening at the guesthouse or around the valley.

Accommodation at guesthouse sometime between 16.00-17.00 am.

Dinner around 19.30 am.

Day 3: Theth National Park – Shkodra – Tirana.

After the breakfast in the guesthouse, the day will start with walking to the waterfall and canyon, and to the valley to the church and to the shutting tower with a local English speaking guide.

Return at the guesthouse at 12.00 and be ready for the minivan pick up to Shkodra. From Shkodra to Tirana you will exchange and get an intercity bus or a private shared car like a minivan back to Tirana.

Room Check out for the room- after breakfast, before going for the walk.

Stop At: Shkoder, Shkoder County

The tour can end in Shkodra or in Tirana (on your choice)

Travel time from Thethi to Shkodra is 2.5 hours.

In additional 1.5 hours to Tirana. You will change transportation in Shkodra, proceeding to Tirana with a public intercity bus. You will reach Tirana around 18:30 PM depending on the traffic.

Drop Off in Tirana: The last stop of the intercity bus.
