Return to Tirana to Terminal bus station for North Albania, the north gate of Tirana or Zogu i Zi square.

Return to Shkodra city center, close to Migjeni Theatre in the center and close to intercity bus station.

Day 1: Tirana – Komani Lake –  Valbona Valley

Starting from Shkodra is available too.

Starting point: Tirana (or Shkoder as an option)

TIRANA: – The starting time is from early morning at 05.20 am from Tirana, with a private minibus (Driver name is Gjelosh) The driver will pick you up in front of Gazheli Petrol, Str. Mine Peza. Show the online ticket we will provide and pay cash to the driver (only for this transfer within this tour)

SHKODRA: – Pick-up at hotel door is offered from Shkodra from 06.10h, transfer with minivans to Ferry stop – Ferry trip – then again minibus to the Guesthouse Door in Valbona valley.

Stop At: Komani Lake, Shkoder County

During the ferry trip, you can fully enjoy the view of the lake, the rocky slopes, the reflections of nature on the water, and amazing views to remember. On the ferry, you can enjoy even a drink or a coffee from the Bar or have your snacks from a branch.

After two hours of the ferry trip, we will reach the Fierza stop. Here will be another minivan waiting to bring you toward Valbona Valley, and drop you off at the Guesthouse door.

Important note: the ferry seats are not enough for all passengers. People used to stay all around the ferry during the trip.

Stop at: Valbona Valley, Tropoja Country

Accommodation around 13.30 am: at KOL GJONI GUESTHOUSE (optional on availability)

Dinner around 19.30 am at the guesthouse;

Lunch box for the next day.

Free time in the afternoon to have a walk around the valley before dinner time.

Day 2: Valbona Valley – Valbona pass – Thethi National Park

Pass By: Valbona National Park, Valbona, Kukes County

After an early breakfast, at around 08.00 am, a local transfer of 15-20 min to the start of the trail will help to ensure you will get the right path.

From the start of the trail in Gjelaj you will start hiking toward Thethi valley for around 6-7 hours, for 12-16 km, to the guesthouse door in Theth.

During this hike, we will go through Rragam and Gjelaj village to Valbona pass at 1759 mt to proceed then in Thethi National Park area between the woods and pastures.

Mule for the luggage can be arranged on request for an extra cost of 50 eur per horse/mule.

Pass By: Theth National Park, Shkoder County

After 30-40 min walk down, on Thethi’s side, there is a cottage used as a ‘Bar’ to have a rest and a refresh. Then proceed toward the down valley for two more hours and get accommodated in the guesthouse in the afternoon.

Usually, it takes 3 hours up and 3 hours down. Duration: 6 hours

Accommodation at guesthouse sometime between 15.00-17.00 am.

Dinner around 19.30 am.

(Guesthouse name in Thethi will be confirmed later with the tour confirmation.)

Day 3: Theth National Park – Shkodra or Tirana.

After breakfast in the guesthouse, you have free time till 10.00 am or 12.00 am to do a walk to the down valley to the St. Mary Church and to the Lock-in Tower, and/or to the waterfall and/or canyon for 1.5-2 hours round trip.

You may choose one of the timetables for the departure and confirm us later. 

Return to the guesthouse before 12.00h and be ready for the minivan pick up to Shkodra. From Shkodra to Tirana you will exchange and get a private shared taxi like a minivan back to Tirana.

Room Check out, immediately after breakfast, before going for the walk.

The tour can end in Shkodra or in Tirana (on your choice)

Travel time from Thethi to Shkodra is 2 hours.

An additional 1.5 – 2 hours to Tirana or more depending on the traffic. You will reach Tirana around 18:30 PM depending on the traffic.

Drop Off in Tirana: The last stop of the intercity bus station North-South TERMINAL or Zogu i Zi square.
